

Studied International Relations at El Colegio de México; Master in Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University; Specialized in Studies on European Integration at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM); Master in International Relations and European Integration from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Graduate of Advanced Studies in International Public Jurisprudence and International Relations, UAB.
Currently visiting professor-researcher at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE), Mexico DF, member of the Observatory of European Foreign Policy of the Institut Universitari d’Estudis Europeus (IUEE) of the UAB, member of the Mexican Council on Foreign Affairs (COMEXI), and is preparing her thesis on International Relations and European Integration for the IUEE doctoral program.
The subjects she is researching include Mexican foreign policy; European Union-Latin America and U.S.A.-L.A. relations; Mexico-U.S. and Mexico-European Union relations, European Union-U.S. relations; regional, and in particular European integration; international migration, especially Latin American toward the U.S. and Europe; and international policy in general. Noteworthy among her most recent publications are: "Migración y desarrollo en América Latina: ¿círculo vicioso o círculo virtuoso?" published in the presentation issue of Pensamiento Iberoamericano (new epoch) magazine; and the book "La agenda internacional de México 2006-2012" coordinated together with Rafael Fernández de Castro and published by Ariel. .
